Lovely, peaceful place to view the river. Complete with paved parking, restrooms, picnic tables, pavilion, playground, large open field and paved walkways.

There were some mallards and geese hanging out in the water near the shore. Didn't seem phased by the presence of dogs. Clearly they get fed on a regular basis.

Beautiful Park! Well maintained and offers many things from fishing to covered pavilions with picnic tables for events.

Dogs are allowed and owners are expected to clean up after them. So, please bring those plastic bags.

If you're a local or just in town for the day and are looking for a place to enjoy the river, this is it.

Great park. Beautiful grass.

Really great place to fish and let the kids/dogs play

I live very near this park . It's a nice easy spot on the river . They have covered pavilions , bbqs , restrooms and a small boat launch . It's relaxing . The river isnt really deep enough to swim in properly , though some people could probably do it . Bring some tubes and lunch ... it's hard to beat

We didn't use the restrooms but the park seemed well maintained overall. It appeared like they could use a couple more trash cans but, I imagine they're probably concerned with drawing too much attention from hungry wildlife.
